The Challenge

The existing Wix site was founder-built, difficult to maintain and lacked a clear flow. More importantly, its quality didn't reflect the level of international brands and studios Backpack Films was already working with.

The Approach

We built the website around the balance that made Backpack Films different: personal and welcoming, but established and credible. A clearer structure, personal copy and a considered visual language helped communicate that. The CMS was also built to make content easy for the founder to navigate and manage himself.

The Outcome

The new site gave Backpack Films a more credible way to present its work to international clients while making the founder's own day-to-day management easier. Nolook Studio continues to support him whenever something needs fixing or changing.

The visual language uses details like rounded image corners and a warm colour palette to keep the experience approachable rather than overly corporate. The structure and CMS work quietly in the background, making the site simple to navigate for clients and simple to maintain for the founder.
